- Tschudi Ship Management (Previous First Baltic Shipmanagement AS) was established in 2001 as a continuation of technical management activities carried out in Estonian Shipping Company AS (ESCO).
- During 2001-2005 Tschudi Ship Management AS operated under the name of TESMA Estonia AS as a company within the TESMA Group.
- From March 2005 - September 2007 Tschudi Ship Management AS operated under the name of First Baltic Shipmanagement AS and as a subsidiary of Tschudi Shipping Company AS, Norway.
- Starting from 01.Oct.2007 First Baltic Shipmanagement AS was renamed to Tschudi Ship Management AS
Tschudi Shipping Company AS, Norway was established in 2003 as a result of Tschudi & Eitzen Group de-merger into 2 individual shipping companies (Tschudi Shipping Company and Camillo Eitzen & Co).
Tschudi & Eitzen Group had roots back to 1883 when the company was established by the partnership of two tall ships Captains Henry Tschudi and Camillo Eitzen. Tschudi Shipping Company AS is owned today by Mr. Felix H.Tschudi who is 4th generation descendant of Captain Henry Tschudi.
